WorldSkills Competition - Olympics Of Skills

WorldSkills organises the world championships of vocational skills,and is held every two years in different parts of the world. The organisation, which also hosts conferences about vocational skills, describes itself as the global hub for skills. WorldSkills brings together young people, industry, government, education, and institutions, to promote the benefits of and need for skilled trade professionals.

WorldSkills rose out of the ruins of the Second World War, which devastated the economies of Europe and created a huge skills shortage that threatened a new economic depression.

The city of Kazan, Russia, hosted the 45th WorldSkills Competition in 2019.

WMPSC Participation in Worldskills Kazan, Russia - 2019

Himanshu Vohra
Chitkara University, Punjab

Himanshu Hails from Chitkara University of Punjab. He participated in WorldSkills Competition in the Plumbing & Heating Category. This was WMPSC’s first appearance in WorldSkills Competition. Himanshu performed very well at the event. WMPSC was praised by the entire Plumbing Fraternity for taking Plumbing as Skill at the Global Level and represent India.
